On this week’s Tech Talk, we are saying goodbye to Microsoft’s iconic “Blue Screen of Death” error page, and getting an introduction to their latest endeavor, Quick Machine Recovery.

Microsoft’s Quick Machine Recovery (QMR) is a significant advancement in system recovery and resilience, especially for enterprise and IT environments. Quick Machine Recovery is a remote recovery feature introduced in Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 6120.3653. It allows IT administrators to remotely restore non-bootable PCs by leveraging the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) and Windows Update infrastructure.

Essentially, Microsoft is trying to make our lives a little bit easier. Listen to Tech Talk below and find out more about Microsoft’s update. You can also read David’s full blog post by clicking here.
