A section of the MBTA Red Line will be closed beginning tonight (Thursday) and through the weekend for maintenance work.
MBTA officials say the Red Line will be closed between the Kendall/MIT and JFK/UMass stations.
Shuttle buses will replace train service with stops at key locations including South Station.
Commuter rail and blue bike alternatives are also available.
The Red Line will return to full service Monday morning.
