The South Shore is still dealing with Monday’s historic blizzard that dumped two or more feet of snow on the area.

Utility crews are still working to restore power in several communities.
Eversource says they expect all customers affected by the storm will have their lights back on by midnight Saturday with most customers having service restored before that time.
As of 4:30 yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon, more than 185,000 customers had power restored with about 211,000 still without electrical service.
Eversource officials said they have more than 2,000 resources including line, tree, and service crews working around the clock to restore power in hard hit areas.
As of last night (Tuesday), about half of Scituate is still without power.
National Grid officials said that they have their mobile emergency operation unit in Scituate as they work to restore power to about 8,000 Scituate residents.
A total of 16,000 customers are still without power in other local communities.
Nearly 400 National Grid crews are still working around the South Shore and the south coast to restore power.
