There will be an active shooter training conducted at Hull High School on Thursday and Friday.
Hull Police say that the ALERRT, or Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training, will lead to an increased police presence in and around the school, along with simulated emergency activity.
Police say that the trainings will help ensure that their “officers and first responders are fully prepared to respond effectively in emergency situations.”
They emphasize that this is only a training exercise and that there is no cause for alarm.
