A lockdown drill will be taking place Thursday morning at Milton Academy.
Milton Police say the drill will begin at 9:05 a.m. and will include the use of the external speaker system on top of Ware Hall which is located at the corner of Centre St. and Randolph Ave.
The lockdown will start with a tone followed by a lockdown message.
Then at 9:15 a.m. there will be chimes followed by an “ALL CLEAR” announcement.
Police emphasize that this only a drill and that there is no cause for alarm.
