An investigation is underway following a deadly crash in Plymouth.
The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office says that shortly after 9:30 a.m. Friday Plymouth Police received a 911 call for a report of a domestic violence incident.
The male suspect had left the scene upon the officers’ arrival.
Police located the suspect vehicle, a blue Volvo, and initiated a brief pursuit that was later terminated due to the Volvo’s erratic driving.
The District Attorney’s Office says Plymouth Police received a 911 call around 9:45 a.m. reporting a blue Volvo driving erratically on Route 3 South before receiving another call reporting a two-car, head-on crash on Warren Ave.
Crews arrived on scene and the driver of a Porsche Macan was hospitalized with what are described as “non-life-threatening injuries.”
The driver of the Volvo was later pronounced dead at the scene.
No names have been released and the incident remains under investigation.
