Preliminary results are in for Rockland’s town election that took place on Saturday.
Results have Jennifer Smith unseating incumbent Robert Stephens for Chair at the Board of Health. Smith had 385 votes while Stephens only had 57. Robert F. Coughlin came in as the runner up with 312.
For the Selectboard, both incumbents, John Ellard Jr. and Michael O’Laughlin, were reelected with 543 and 641 votes respectively.
Preliminary Results for West Bridgewater’s local elections are in as well.
Incumbent Jeffrey Paul Ryan was reelected to the Selectboard with 389 votes. Paula M. Bunker was reelected for a three year term with the Board of Assessors with 348 votes.
Jennifer Croes was elected to the planning board with 32 votes. Alexandra Valerie Palmieri was elected to the School Committee with 190 votes.
