A training exercise will be taking place in Scituate on Tuesday at Scituate High School and the Gates Middle School.
Town officials say that the exercise will involve evacuating students and staff from school buildings and moved to “off-site rally points.”
Residents are being told to expect an increased presence of emergency vehicles and personell.
Most of the activity will be centered in the Cedarwood and Cushing School areas and officials say residents will see staff and students moving through the area.
