Police are searching for a missing girl from Dorchester.
Boston Police say 13-Year-Old Mineidys Soto-Lugo was reported missing on Friday after she did not return home from school.
Police say Soto-Lugo contacted a family member saying she was safe and staying with a friend, but did not disclose her location.
She is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall, with a medium build, brown eyes, and brown shoulder-length hair with a blonde streak worn in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing dark blue sweatpants and a blue Nike tech hoodie.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is being urged to call District B-3 Detectives at (617) 343-2309.
