A judge on Monday revoked the bail of a man charged with a deadly crash at the Apple store at the Derby Street Shoppes in Hingham four years ago.
Sixty-five-year-old Bradley Rein of Hingham was arrested Sunday by Hingham police for violating his pretrial probation.
Prosecutors say he failed an alcohol test that is part of the conditions of his bail.
His defense attorney argued that he is not a danger to the community and the alcohol reading was low and could have been caused by other factors.
Rein is charged with crashing his SUV through the front of the Apple store killing one person and injuring over twenty others just days before Thanksgiving in 2022.
He is awaiting trial early next year on several charges including second degree murder and reckless operation of a vehicle.
Rein claims the crash was an accident and that his foot got stuck on the accelerator as he was turning.
This is the third time his bail has been revoked for violations related to his GPS tracking device.
