Pembroke Man Killed In Plane Crash

A Pembroke man has been identified as one of the victims of a Ludlow plane crash.

The Hampden County District Attorney’s Office says that on Saturday, September 5, members of the Ludlow Police Department and Massachusetts State Police responded for a reported missing aircraft. 

They located the aircraft, a Piper PA-28 Cherokee, in a wooded area off Center St.

Two deceased victims, identified as 66-year-old Kenneth R. Moore of Pembroke and 62-year-old Marcy Asbury of East Falmouth, were found inside the aircraft.

The crash remains under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Hampden County District Attorney’s Office and the Ludlow Police Department, in coordination with the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board.
