A trooper was hospitalized following a crash in Plymouth. Massachusetts State Police say that at 4:20 a.m. Thursday a cruiser was struck while working a detail on Route 3 North prior to Exit 3. Both the trooper and the other driver were transported to an area hospital as a precaution for evaluation of suspected minor injuries.
One person has died following a multi-vehicle crash in Brockton. Police say the crash took place shortly before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on Pleasant St. and Nye Ave. The accident involved pedestrians, motor vehicles, and motorcycles with five people being transported to area hospitals. The incident is being investigated by Massachusetts State Police and Brockton Police.
