Scituate Police Chief Mark Thompson, Marshfield Police Chief Phil Tavares, Scituate Fire Chief Mark Donovan, and Marshfield Fire Chief Michael Laselva speak with WATD’s Christine James about safety issues during the July 4th holiday.  

A statewide outage of 911 is being reported. At the time no cause has been given and no timeline for restoration is available. Anyone who has an emergency and cannot get through to 911, is asked to call their local community’s police or fire department business lines for immediate assistance.
