American Cardinal is the New Pope

An American Cardinal is the new pope. Cardinal Robert Prevost, originally from Chicago, was elected today as the 267th pontiff to lead the Catholic Church.  He is taking the name of Pope Leo XIV. Pope Leo succeeds Pope Francis who died on April 21st.
