Thanksgiving is often seen as a celebratory day spent with friends and family, but for local firefighters it’s a different story.
State Fire Marshal Peter Ostroskey tells WATD News that there are steps people can take to ensure a safer Thanksgiving.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic this year there may be a lot of people who will be cooking outdoors with turkey fryers, which Ostroskey says need to be handled very carefully.
