The town of Scituate is asking residents to stop flushing wipes down their toilets because it is causing havoc at the sewer treatment plant.

The box says the wipes are flushable and they are but once they reach the Scituate Sewer Treatment Plant the workers are taking the equipment apart to remove wipes.
Not a fun job no doubt, so Scituate Town Administrator Jim Boudreau is pleading with residents to stop.
Covid-19 numbers are also spiking in Scituate and Boudreau wants everyone to take the precautions spelt out by the state.
