Kingston Fire was called to a fire on 32 Kennedy Rd.
Fire officials say the fire was called-in by the homeowner shortly before 7 p.m. Monday.
It’s believed the cause of the fire was discarded smoking material in a mulch patch outside.
The fire was under control within 10 minutes, and there was an estimated $5,000 of damage.
Plymouth Fire assisted, while Duxbury provided station coverage.
No injuries were reported.
