Duxbury Firefighters were called to the scene of a structure fire Thursday afternoon.
Fire officials say crews arrived on the 20 block of Surplus St. to find heavy fire conditions in the kitchen extending up into the cabinets and walls.
As a result all off-duty firefighters were recalled and mutual aid was provided by Pembroke, Kingston, and Plympton.
