Threat Forces Lockdown of Bridgewater/Raynham High School

Bridgewater/Raynham Regional High school was placed on lockdown on Thursday afternoon because of a threat.

In a statement from Police Chief Christopher Delmonte and Superintendent Ryan Powers, a parent reported they received an anonymous phone call threatening their child with a weapon.

School officials ordered a shelter in place and notified police.

Police conducted multiple searches of the building and did not find any weapons.

The shelter in place was lifted at about one forty-five and students were dismissed for the day.

Police say they determined there was no credible threat to the school community.

Detectives are working to identify the suspect.
