Please Meet Sandy — Your Future Snuggle Buddy! This 4-year-old mixed breed deserves a home and we’d love you to consider her for a forever home.
Sandy didn’t always know love. It fact, it’s a heart breaking story. Sandy was tied to a tree for most of her life until she chewed through a metal chain to break free. She was just skin and bones when she arrived at a neighbor’s house who turned her over to the local animal shelter in the Carolina’s. Now, this sweet girl is 50 pounds and is a Level 10 snuggler who’s making up for lost time and melting hearts along the way.
After years without the care she deserved, Sandy is thriving in her foster home thanks to Buddy & Friends Animal Rescue in Pembroke.

This girl does best when crated while home alone and would do best in a home without small animals, as she loves to chase wildlife. She’s looking for a family who will guide her with the kindness, patience, and consistency she’s never had before.
Sandy is ready to trade her past for a future filled with love, snuggles, and second chances.
