Man Arrested in Weymouth Bank Robbery

A Quincy man was nabbed after he allegedly tried to rob a Weymouth bank.

Forty-one-year-old Thomas Bois Junior is charged with attempted unarmed robbery and larceny under twelve hundred dollars.

He also had a default warrant from Boston District Court.

Police say that Bois, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and gloves, entered the Eastern Bank at eleven-fifty Washington Street on the afternoon of November 18th and passed a note to a teller demanding money.

No weapon was displayed or threatened.

He left the bank without any cash and fled the scene on a bicycle.

Officers quickly located a suspect matching the description of the suspect on a bike.

The suspect was later confirmed to be Bois after surveillance video was reviewed.

Bois was arraigned in Quincy District Court and is being held in custody.
