Town/Community Information:
Abington-School Committee Meeting will be rescheduled to next Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 6:30pm in the Library at the Abington Middle/High School, 201 Gliniewicz Way, Abington, MA.
Duxbury-Due to inclement weather, all non-emergency Town facilities (i.e., Duxbury Town Hall offices, the Duxbury Senior Center, the Percy Walker Pool, the Duxbury Free Library and Duxbury Beach) will be closed and all meetings will be cancelled on Monday, February 23, 2026. Due to the intensity and duration of the incoming storm, we anticipate that these facilities may also be closed, and meetings cancelled, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, as well. The decision for further closures and cancellations on Tuesday (and possibly Wednesday) will be rendered later once we have had time to assess the situation.
Hanover – The Hanover Transfer Station will be closed on Monday 2/23. All Hanover Town offices and buildings are currently scheduled to open, after a delay, at 12:00 pm on Monday 2/23.
Marshfield – Town Offices closed on Tuesday 2/24 and COA to be opened as warming center.
Norwell-Town Hall, Library, and Council on Aging closed.Trash / Recycling delayed until Wednesday. Parking ban in effect until 6 a.m. Council on Aging open Wednesday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. warming/charging center
