A Scituate couple has been identified as two of three people killed in a helicopter crash off the coast of the Hawaiian island of Kauai.
Fifty-nine-year-old Patrick Haskell and his wife, 65-year-old Margaret Rimmler died when the sightseeing helicopter crashed last Thursday.
The third victim has not yet been identified.
Two others survived the crash.
Haskell just retired from running the Haskell Insurance Agency in Needham with his father for many years.
The agency recently moved to Dedham.
In a posting, the company stated that Haskell’s kindness and selfless nature impacted all who knew him and that he extended respect and compassion to everyone he encountered.
The crash is under investigation by federal authorities.
