Canty, Quintal Top 5-Way Race
Plymouth selectboard incumbents Kevin Canty and Richard Quintal Jr. were reelected in Saturday’s election.
Canty led the four-way race with 4,149 votes and Quintal received 4,092.
They fended off challengers, former select board member Betty Cavacco who had 3,520, and Scott Vecchi with 2574.
In the school committee race, Christina Bryant and Megan Parker won the two seats.
Bryant led the five-way pack with 4,433 votes and Parker receiving 3,242.
They held off challengers Justin Fosdick who had 2,776 votes, Michael Condry with 2,378, and Lucca Betti, 1,578.
The other races were uncontested.
About sixteen percent, or 8,676 of the town’s nearly 54,000 registered voters turned out at the polls Saturday.
