Duxbury: Town Officials Working to Reopen Beach

Duxbury may start selling beach stickers by the end of the month.
Town officials are also waiting for the green light from the commonwealth for a re-open date for beaches across the state.
Duxbury Town Manager Rene Read says he has spoken to Executive Director of the Duxbury Beach Reservation, Cris Luttazi. Read also says he will reach out to Duxbury Police Chief Steve McDonald and coordinate with the DPW in hopes of opening for Memorial Day.
Read says all involved in reopening the beach have received their 14-day notice to start preparing and he feels it is good news.
Read announced he may know by the end of this week on whether or not they can start selling beach stickers by the end of the month.
