Norwell Firefighters will be escorting Santa through town Saturday on a decorated fire truck.
Captain Tyler Hannigan says that while the truck will be festive, and Santa is a big star, the focus needs to be directed to a worthy cause.
Hannigan says they will try to visit as much of the town as weather conditions allow.
If the parade is unable to go down your street, Hannigan says that you will still have an opportunity to view the truck up close.
Engine 3 is expected to begin its journey on Washington St. between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 pm.
Hannigan says they will try to visit as many streets as current road and weather conditions allow before returning to Fire Headquarters at 300 Washington St. next to the Toys for Tots collection pod.
