Although Chanukah is considered a minor Jewish holiday, Rabbi Benjamin says it conveys a very important message.

Rabbi Benjamin says the center candle in the menorah, the shamash or helper candle, lights the other candles and serves as an example for all of us.

Chanukah ends on Friday night December 18.
