Randolph Man Arrested Following Double Stabbing At Boston Bar

A Randolph man is facing charges following a stabbing at a historic Boston tavern.

Boston Police say that shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday officers responded to a call for a person with a knife at The Bell In Hand Tavern on Union St.

Upon arrival officers were told men had been stabbed and that security was attempting to restrain the suspect, later identified as 36-year-old Alex Brito.

Officers saw security struggling with Brito and were able to gain control and take him into custody while they also recovered a knife from the scene.

The two victims were transported to an area hospital with what were determined to be non-life threatening injuries.

Brito is being charged with Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon (2 Counts), Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon (2 Counts), Simple Assault and Battery, Resisting Arrest and Threats.
