The Petersen Pool and Rink Complex in Braintree is a proposed project that been in the works for several years.

 

However, Mayor Charles Kokoros says he doesn’t want to wait much longer to see work get underway.

 

As for what those actions could be.

 

The Peterson Pool project has been in the works for nearly 60 years after tugboat Captain August Julius Petersen left Braintree $65,000 upon his death in 1963 for a community pool at Watson Park.
