The South Shore Bear has been spotted in Kingston.
Kingston Police say the bear, nicknamed Boo Boo, has been seen primarily in the area of Wapping Rd. (Route 106) in the area of the MacFarlane Farms neighborhood on Wednesday.
They are asking the public to leave the bear alone and police say they are taking no action based solely on the bear’s presence.
However, if the bear is posing an immediate threat, then police say you should contact them immediately.
Police say that, so far, they haven’t received any reports of honey larceny.
