A man was struck and killed by a car in Brockton Thursday afternoon.
The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office says that shortly after 2:30 p.m. Brockton Police received several 911 calls reporting a person was struck by a vehicle at 1101 Main St.
Crews arrived on scene, and found a male victim, who was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The vehicle was identified as a 1987 Mercedes 300, and officials say the driver stopped at the scene. Neither the driver nor the victim are being identified at this time.
The incident remains under investigation by Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section, Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene Services, and Brockton Police.
