Falmouth Man Arrested In Connection With Stabbing In Bourne

A Falmouth man is custody following a stabbing in Bourne.

Bourne Police say that at approximately 5:45 p.m. Monday officers were dispatched to Clover Paving, at 584 MacArthur Blvd., for a report of a male that was stabbed by another employee.

Officers arrived on scene where they found a 32-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.

The victim was MedFlighted to an area trauma hospital with life-threatening injuries, he was last listed as being in critical condition.

The suspect, 30-year-old Cory James Johnson, and the victim had allegedly been involved in an altercation prior to the stabbing.

Johnson fled the scene before officers arrived, but he was located in Falmouth and taken into custody by Falmouth Police.

He is being charged with Assault to Murder, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife), and Assault and Battery.
