Quincy Shooting Leaves One Dead

One man has died following a deadly shooting in Quincy.
Quincy Police say officers were called to the area of 5 Crown Dr. at approximately 12:40 a.m. Thursday.
Upon arrival they found a man in his 30’s with obvious gunshot wounds in the area of the stairwell leading from the apartment building’s parking area to the residences.
The man was transported to an area hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
Police say they do not believe there is any ongoing threat to neighbors in the area.
The incident is being investigated by Quincy Police and Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the Norfolk District Attorney’s office.
