The latest storm that hit this area on the Friday before Christmas, was not a usual nor’easter, the winds blew in from the south.
Joe Rossi, head of the Massachusetts Coastal Coalition, says coincidentally, the storm tied into the National Flood Insurance Program, which would have expired on that same day.
