A road closure is in effect in East Bridgewater after a dam broke.
East Bridgewater Police say Pond St. will be closed at the boat ramp, after a dam broke upriver in Halifax.
This caused the water to overflow the road/bridge by that area of Robin’s Pond.
Police say the road will be blocked and is “impassable until the water recedes and the bridge can be inspected to make sure it was not compromised.”
