Acting Gov. Kimberly Driscoll signed an interim budget into law that will allow the state government will stay open for at least another month.
Legislators are working to reconcile a budget release by Gov. Maura Healey in February; the House budget which was released in April; and the Senate budget which was released in May.
As work continues on a final budget State Sen. Walter Timilty tells WATD News he’s proud of what they have proposed.
The new fiscal year began on July 1.
