Off to a 3-0 start, Abington closed out its non-league schedule on Thursday night with an emphatic 33-0 shutout of Silver Lake.
Averaging 29 points per game, while giving up 11 points per game, all seems to be working for a Green Wave squad that has struck the right balance of senior leadership and underclassmen contribution.
Third year starter Michael Reilly is leading the offense from the quarterback position, adding a passing element to the usually potent ground game of the Green Wave.
A stable of backs including the Nash brothers, senior AJ and sophomore Mason, Ryan Simonetti, Ryan Solimini, and Will Leblanc have proven nearly unstoppable behind a strong offensive line.
