An East Bridgewater Police Officer has been placed on leave.
Chief Michael Jenkins reports that on Saturday Sergeant Thomas Flint was placed on administrative leave following an off-duty incident that led to his arrest in another community.
Jenkins says Flint will remain on leave pending the results of an internal investigation and court proceedings.
Meanwhile in Raynham, Police Chief David LaPlante reports the 50-year-old Flint, of Bridgewater, was arrested and charged with OUI Liquor, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Marked Lanes Violation, and Speeding.
Raynham Police also report that on November 18th, they observed a black SUV being driven erratically and began to follow as the driver allegedly passed two vehicles at a high rate of speed, they pulled the driver over.
The driver, identified as Flint, was allegedly intoxicated, he was placed under arrest.
