Veterans’ Day 2023 Events On The South Shore

Here’s a list of some Veterans’ Day events on the South Shore.

Abington: Veterans’ Day Parade for the towns of Abington, Rockland, and Whitman, scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 10 am, beginning at Union Street, and ending at the old Rockland Plaza parking lot.

Bridgewater: Veterans’ Day Parade for the towns of Bridgewater, East Bridgewater, and West Bridgewater, scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 10am, starting on Laurel Street, and ending at the East Bridgewater Town Common.

Brockton: Veterans’ Day Parade is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 9:30am, located at the War Memorial, and ending at theCity Hall Amphitheater. A ceremony will be held at the Brockton City Hall Amphitheater, at 10:30 am.

Cohasset: Ceremony at Veterans’ Memorial Park, scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 11 am.

East Bridgewater: Veterans’ Day Parade for the towns of Bridgewater, East Bridgewater, and West Bridgewater, scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 10am, starting on Laurel Street, and ending at the East Bridgewater Town Common.

Halifax: Veteran’s Day Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 11 am, located at the Halifax Town Hall, at 499 Plymouth Street.

Hingham: Veterans’ Day Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 11am, located at the Sanborn Auditorium, on the 2nd Floor of Hingham Town Hall.

Holbrook: Veterans’ Day Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 11:30 am, at the Mary Wales Holbrook Park.

Hull: Veterans’ Day Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 11 am, located at the War Memorial Wall.

Kingston: A Veterans’ Day Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, November 10th, starting at 10:45 am, located at the Town Hall Front Lawn. A Veterans’ Day Luncheon is scheduled for 12pm, located at the Council on Aging.

Marshfield: Veterans’ Day Parade & Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 10:30am, starting at the Library Plaza, and ending at the Veterans’ Memorial Park, at 11am. Immediately following the ceremony, a gathering will take place at the corner of Plymouth Ave. and Ocean St. at the AMVETS island to unveil a memorial sign in honor of PFC Edward Thomas Egan, Jr.

Milton: Veterans’ Day Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 11am, located at the Milton Town Hall.

Norwell: Veterans’ Day Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 11am, located at the Norwell Central Fire Station, at 677 Main Street.

Pembroke: Veterans’ Day Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, beginning at 11am, at Pembroke High School.

Plymouth: Veterans’ Day Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 11am, located in the Blue Room of Memorial Hall. Young men and women from Plymouth who are enlisting this year will be recognized at the event.

Quincy: Veterans’ Day Parade & Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, beginning at 10:30am, at Quincy High School, and at the corner of Southern Artery and Hancock Street.

Randolph: Veterans’ Day events are scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 8:30am with a breakfast, at 21 School Street. At 10:45am, there will be a march up to the War Memorial, in Crawford Square. At 11am, there will be a ceremony at the Randolph War Memorial, in Crawford Square.

Rockland: Veterans’ Day Parade for the towns of Abington, Rockland, and Whitman, scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 10am, beginning at Union Street, and ending at the old Rockland Plaza parking lot.

West Bridgewater: Veterans’ Day Parade for the towns of Bridgewater, East Bridgewater, and West Bridgewater, scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 10 am, starting on Laurel Street, and ending at the East Bridgewater Town Common.

Weymouth: Veterans’ Day Parade & Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 9:30 am with a Korean War Memorial Ceremony, followed by a Parade at 10:15 am, starting from Jackson Square to Weymouth Town Hall. Celebrations will continue from 11 am until 1 pm.

Whitman: Veterans’ Day Parade for the towns of Abington, Rockland, and Whitman, scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, starting at 10 am, beginning at Union Street, and ending at the old Rockland Plaza parking lot.
