Deputy Fire Chief Mitchell Sumner tells WATD News that firefighters had to contend with obstacles in the home as they worked to get the blaze under control.
The home suffered extensive damage.
However, Sumner says that the weather conditions didn’t cause too many challenges.
The incident remains under investigation.
