Quincy Police are investigating an early morning shooting in Wollaston.
Police say that shortly after 3 a.m. Friday officers were dispatched to Elm Ave. and Marlboro St. for a report that a person had been shot.
They arrived on scene and located a male who was treated by the Quincy Fire Department and Brewster EMS before he was transported to a local area hospital with what are described as “non-life threatening injuries.”
Police say it doesn’t appear that the shooting was random.
However, the incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is being asked to contact Quincy Police at (617) 479-1212.
