A Brockton man is facing charges following a reported stabbing Tuesday night.
Brockton Police say that just after 9 p.m. officers responded to 124 Manley St. for a reported stabbing outside the Smith Family Housing Resource Center.
Upon arrival they located a suspect, identified as 23-year-old Ryan Sanon, and he was taken into custody without incident.
Once inside the shelter they located an 18-year-old male suffering from a stab wound to the chest.
Police say he was conscious and alert when he was transported to the hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Sanon is facing charges of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
Brockton Police say Massachusetts State Police assisted at the scene and that the incident remains under investigation.
