We have a sweet boy looking for a forever home! Can you help Scooter?
Meet Scooter. He is a 6-year-old neutered male tuxedo cat who was adopted from the Kingston Animal Shelter 5 years ago when he was just a kitten. However, a few months ago, his family moved out of state and decided not to take him with them. So, he was returned to the shelter. Unfortunately, based on observations made by staff, he seems to be wary of new people and afraid of feet. He also had some dental issues which the shelter immediately addressed. Since then, Scooter has been feeling much better. Once you gain his trust, he shows just how sweet and affectionate he can be. Scooter loves to be brushed and enjoys his crunchy treats. In the right home, he is sure to blossom and be the cat he is meant to be. They have also discovered he enjoys the company of other cats. So, if you have a buddy, he can pal around with, it could only benefit him, as they believe having a friend would build up his confidence. They are unsure how he’d feel about a dog and think he would do better with kids 12 and older.
