A man is facing multiple charges following a chase that went through multiple South Shore communities.
Plympton Police say that Daniel Bean was wanted on an active warrant and violated pre-trial release conditions when he fled from officers during a motor vehicle stop.
The pursuit went through Plympton, Kingston, and Duxbury before he was taken into custody.
Police say Bean resisted arrest during the stop striking a Plympton Police officer with a vehicle door, before fleeing on foot into a marsh before he was taken into custody by responding officers.
Bean is being charged with Failure to Stop for Police; Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle; Marked Lanes Violation; Speed Greater Than Reasonable; Resisting Arrest; Assault and Battery on a Police Officer; Possession of a Class C Substance.
Plympton Police say Daniel Bean was previously arrested on June 4 following an overnight search involving multiple law enforcement agencies.
