The Fore River Bridge was one of five bridges in Massachusetts lit in pink to honor country music legend Dolly Parton who died last Tuesday at 80 from cancer.
Pink light illuminated the span that links Quincy and Weymouth last Tuesday night.
In a social media post, Governor Maura Healey said Parton was an amazing human being, and that her music meant so much to so many people, and her generosity and kindness made her even more special.
