Quincy Fire Announces Addition Of New Ladder Truck

Quincy Fire Chief Joseph Jackson announced on Tuesday that the city would be putting a fourth ladder truck into service.   Mayor Tom Koch said this will improve response times for residents throughout the city.   Ladder 4 has been out of service since 1990.

Brockton Fire Officials Investigating Potential Arson

Officials are investigating a potential arson in Brockton on Friday morning. The Brockton Fire Department says “multiple intentional fires” were set in a vacant house on Clifford Ave. Three people fled once firefighters arrived on scene. Crews Respond To Fire On Main St. In Norwell

Crews in Norwell were called to the scene of a fire at 67 Main St. Road Reporter Terry was on the scene and he called in to WATD.   Deputy Fire Chief William Milne tells WATD News that they were able to deal with the fire fairly quickly.   No injuries were reported.
