Brockton Celebrates Senegal’s Independence Day

Senegalese Independence Day was observed Monday with a ceremony in front of Brockton City Hall.   Mayor Robert Sullivan also issued a declaration which highlighted the contributions the Senegalese have made to the city and the Commonwealth.   The speeches were followed by a raising of that nation’s flag.
