Pembroke Town Manager Bill Chenard says the town has lifted an Emergency Water Ban.
It was in effect since July 27th.
For a period of time, homes, businesses, and the fire department was experiencing low water pressure.
Much of the state remains in a Level-3 critical drought status, according to Beth Card, the Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs.
The town is now reverting to water use restrictions. Non-essential uses include washing vehicles, building surfaces, and irrigation of lawns.
Residents should just use hand-held hoses or watering cans, after 5 p.m. or before 9 a.m. one day per week.
Odd house numbers can water on Wednesday or Friday and for even houses – Tuesday or Thursday.
More information can be found on the town’s website.
