An arrest has been made in a fatal shooting in Rockland.
Thirty-four-year-old Kevin Denis pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder in Hingham District Court Monday. He is being held without bail.
Denis was taken into custody Saturday after an arrest warrant was issued.
Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz and Rockland police Chief Nicholas Zeoli say that Denis was arrested at a residence on Carl Avenue in Brockton following an investigation by state and Rockland police.
Authorities say that on the evening of November 11th, Rockland police responded to a report of gunshots in Deering Square.
They found a man in a parked car with gunshot wounds.
The victim, twenty-nine-year-old Darnel Andre of Rockland, died of his wounds.
Denis will be back in court on January 9th.
