Massachusetts unveils vaccine hotline for those 75 and older.
BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts launched a new hotline Friday designed to help those 75 and older who are trying to schedule a COVID-19 vaccination appointment and are having trouble navigating the state’s vaccine website. Individuals can connect with a hotline operator by dialing 2-1-1 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Gov. Charlie Baker also announced a public information campaign Friday aimed at members of the Black, Hispanic, and other minority communities. Also Friday, the state’s number of newly confirmed coronavirus deaths rose by 74 and a mass coronavirus vaccination site is scheduled to open this month at Worcester State University.
